Iyandra P. Smith is an Attorney at Law, focusing her practice on commercial litigation, insolvency, asset tracing, and international financial crimes. Ms. Smith received her Juris Doctorate from University of Florida’s Levin College of Law, where she was a member of Jessup Moot Court and a Research Fellow at the Center of International Financial Crime Studies. She received her B.A. in Economics with a concentration in monetary policy and macroeconomics from the University of Tampa in 2006.
Ms. Smith has written a number of articles on USA legislation and policies and its effects on foreign financial institutions. Ms. Smith has also been asked to speak at international law conferences on matters relating to international financial crime and anti-money laundering legislation. She is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of London. Ms. Smith is admitted to practice in Florida, and is also currently seeking admission to the Bahamas and DC Bars. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association, and International Bar Association. She is also a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the London Institute of Arbitrators.
